Avanade is seeking ambitious and tech passionate graduates to join our Technology Consulting and VelocITy Graduate Programme, starting October 2026 in Newcastle. This programme is designed to develop future consultants through hands-on project experience, structured training, and continuous professional growth. You will join a diverse, collaborative community, gain exposure to market leading Microsoft technologies, and work directly with clients, senior leaders, and global teams.
What You Will Do
- Join live project teams to consult on innovative, critical technology solutions.
- Participate in a 3-month intensive technical training programme, delivered with QA, focused on Data & AI, Cloud, Software Engineering and Cyber Security.
- Build consultancy capabilities through communications and soft-skills training.
- Shadow experienced consultants and contribute to projects.
- Engage in group work, hackathons, and hands-on learning designed to accelerate your technical and professional development.
- Work toward Microsoft certifications.
- Benefit from ongoing support through an assigned Career Advisor and Buddy.
- Collaborate within Avanade’s Early Talent Network for global connections and learning opportunities.
Qualifications
About you - some of the below sound like you:
- A proven passion for technology and desire to build a career in consulting.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering
- AI & Machine Learning (incl. GenAI, LLMs, predictive analytics)
- Cloud technologies (Azure, O365, DevOps, ETL, data pipelines)
- Software Engineering (C# .Net, Python, R, SQL)
- Cybersecurity and Identity
Professional Development & Growth
- Minimum 80+ hours of technical training per year.

Salary & Benefits
- £30,000 base salary
- £2,000 sign-on bonus
