In this role, you will be part of the Accenture Microsoft Business Group, working closely with Accenture Client Leadership to identify and drive Microsoft-based digital transformation opportunities within Health & Public Sector client accounts. Your focus will be on originating and leading Accenture's sales efforts around the Microsoft ecosystem and growing within these established client relationships.

In support of our continued growth, we are looking for a Microsoft Technology Account Lead to capitalize on our capabilities. Our goal is to originate and grow our core business by driving a collaborative growth strategy and supporting Accenture's sales and revenue targets across Health & Public Sector clients. As a Microsoft Technology Account Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring these objectives are met.

You will help Clients realize business value from the Microsoft platform while working alongside Accenture, leveraging their client relationships to drive technical thought leadership. You will also position cloud modernization, security, AI-driven solutions, data platforms, and large-scale transformation programmes within Accenture's accounts, ensuring clients benefit from seamless Microsoft technology adoption.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with Accenture's account teams to drive Microsoft-focused solutions, ensuring alignment with client strategies and successful execution across Health & Public Sector organisations.
  • Grow pipeline and sales by supporting, managing or leading the origination and/or closing of sales opportunities in a specific area or across a range of offerings.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans in partnership with Accenture to drive Microsoft-focused growth across Health & Public Sector accounts.
  • Lead the sale of large and complex transformation opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, engaging C-level stakeholders to shape and drive digital transformation strategies across healthcare providers, government, and public sector organisations.
  • Support Accenture's sales efforts by providing expertise in Microsoft cloud, security, data, and AI solutions.
  • Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities within Accenture's Health & Public Sector client base.
  • Ensure deal compliance, contract negotiation, and financial performance alignment.
  • Advocate for emerging Microsoft technologies and thought leadership within Accenture-led client engagements.
  • Drive delivery excellence and client satisfaction by coordinating across Avanade and Accenture teams.

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience working in partner-driven sales models, ideally with Accenture or similar strategic alliances.
  • Proven success in enterprise technology sales with a focus on Microsoft solutions (Cloud, Data & AI, Modern Workplace, Business Applications).
  • Strong ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders in a structured sales environment.
  • Experience within Health & Public Sector, including healthcare providers, government, public services, or related sectors, with the ability to engage at the C-suite level.
  • Ability to align Microsoft technology solutions to business transformation needs within Accenture's consulting framework.
  • Understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Health & Public Sector organisations, including digital transformation, cloud adoption, security, data, AI, and citizen/patient experience.
  • Expertise in deal structuring, contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and performance-based contracting.
  • Proven track record in large-scale enterprise sales, managing complex multi-million-dollar deals.
