This is a fantastic opportunity for a proficient marketing and communications professional to deepen client and prospect engagement across Avaloq’s key European growth markets. This role is based in London and oversees two official regions: the United Kingdom and Continental Europe, with today’s priority markets including Luxembourg and Germany.
Europe is a strategically important region for Avaloq, and this role balances high-touch involvement in priority markets with scalable programs across the broader European landscape. You will lead regional events, account-based marketing (ABM), targeted campaigns, and high-quality client success storytelling. Cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, and global marketing teams will be essential to successfully localize global initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and contribute directly to pipeline growth.
You will join our international team of diverse, highly skilled marketers promoting Avaloq’s leading wealth management technology and services.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement UK & Europe field marketing strategy in alignment with the regional head, sales leadership, and global marketing, building trusted relationships to define priorities, support account plans, and accelerate pipeline growth.
- Drive localized marketing impact through targeted field initiatives: regional events, executive roundtables, partner activities, and client community programs.
- Lead end-to-end event management (planning, content, logistics, promotion, follow-up) for owned and sponsored events.
- Develop and execute account-based marketing (ABM) programs, including tailored content, outreach, and experiences for priority accounts.
- Produce and curate client success stories, testimonials, and case-study assets tailored to the European market.
- Adapt and localize global marketing campaigns, assets, and messaging to ensure relevance for regional audiences.
- Manage the UK & Europe marketing budget and ensure effective allocation of resources across programs. Track, analyse, and report on campaign and event performance, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of the European financial services landscape, with a demonstrated ability to activate marketing initiatives in these markets.
- Proven track record in field marketing or regional marketing, including event management, ABM, campaign localization, and content creation.
- Proficient communication, interpersonal, and project management skills with proficiency in English.
- Established network within the UK financial ecosystem, including media partners, conference organisers, and industry stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel once a quarter.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business.
- Proven experience in B2B marketing or the financial services sector would be beneficial.
- Ability to speak German in a professional capacity.
- Exposure to working in the German market.
