Job Description
Join our Wealth and Front unit as a Team Lead, where you'll steer a skilled group of business analysts focusing on Web & Mobile, Static Data, CRM, PFM, and Rebalancing, and oversee their second‐level support responsibilities. You'll manage a dynamic team, foster relationships with prestigious banking clients, and keep our incident backlog organised and under control. The role offers collaboration across stakeholders and exposure to some of the top names in the financial industry.
Your key tasks:
- Lead daily stand‐ups and team meetings to ensure proficient operations.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on team member performance, assign tasks and projects, promote cohesion, address conflicts, and monitor workload, redistributing duties as needed.
- Incorporate team‐building activities to enhance collaboration among members.
- Collaborate with product managers to create solutions that meet market demands while strictly adhering to security and compliance standards.
- Guide your team through complex solution development.
- Engage with key stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and align them with technical efforts.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and banking clients, providing regular status updates and reports.
- Act as a bridge to ensure business and technical goals are in sync, coordinating vital meetings and workshops.
- Identify and rectify inefficiencies in current workflows, and devise enhancement strategies.
- Work with business analysts to delineate processes for vital platform operations, fostering cross‐departmental cooperation for seamless integration.
- Investigate the root causes of platform incidents to prioritise and streamline issue resolution.
- Provide comprehensive analyses and recommend enhancements to prevent future problems.
- Collaborate with developers to execute fixes and maintain an informed knowledge base on platform solutions and existing issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of incident management and second‐level support experience.
- 2+ years of leading technical teams in a business analysis or similar environment.
- Ideally experience within the IT and banking sectors.
- Expertise in Web & Mobile, Static Data and/or Rebalancing.
- Experience managing incident backlogs and issue resolution prioritisation.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Nice to have: PL/SQL or experience in Avaloq Script.
- Understanding of compliance and security standards in the financial sector.
- A track record of successful team leadership and/or project management.
- Proven experience in facilitating effective team communication and collaboration.
- Evidence of successfully guiding teams through complex technical solution development.
