This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sustainability, responsible business or corporate responsibility professional to join Avaloq's Communications, Creative Solutions and Sustainability department.

Reporting to the Head of Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility, you will play a key role in the delivery of Avaloq's sustainability programme, helping to advance our environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments and ensure compliance with evolving sustainability reporting requirements.

  • Manage and grow charity partnerships and drive employee engagement with volunteering across our global locations.
  • Promote awareness of sustainability and responsible business practices through internal communications, campaigns and engagement activities.
  • Coordinate the collection, validation and analysis of sustainability data, helping to track progress against sustainability targets and commitments and meet reporting requirements.
  • Maintain sustainability records, evidence and documentation to support reporting, assurance and audit requirements.
  • Support the preparation various communications and documentation: sustainability reports, disclosures, client requests, briefing materials, performance updates for management and senior executives, other sustainability‑related communications.
  • Monitor developments in sustainability regulations, reporting standards and industry best practice, providing support on implementation activities.
  • Experience in corporate responsibility, sustainability or the non‑profits sector with a deep understanding of strategic charity partnerships and responsible business.
  • Proven track record in event planning, employee engagement and volunteer management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills: the ability to present information clearly to a range of stakeholders in an engaging way, build effective working relationships and collaborate across diverse business functions.
  • Experience collecting, analysing and reporting data, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills with a curious, creative, proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

It would be a real bonus if you have knowledge of

  • Greenhouse gas accounting.
  • Sustainability metrics and governance.
  • Reporting frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative and the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
