This is a great opportunity for a Junior Software Developer to join our office in Edinburgh. You'll be part of the Payment team, who are the experts in Avaloq's end-to-end Payments and Cash Operations solutions and maintain, improve and innovate the associated modules throughout all software layers. This ranges from customer-specific configuration for our SaaS clients and the Avaloq Banking Standard (ABR/S) for the various markets, down to the innermost core development for each of our clients. Comprising of talented software developers, business analysts, and consultants from around the world, we collaborate in a dynamic and innovative environment. You'll become a trusted subject matter expert within your functional area, taking on a diverse range of assignments that will keep you challenged and engaged. This role would be ideal for a junior software developer who is motivated to learn new skills, values customer interaction and thrives on crafting customization layers that enhance user experience. In return for your commitment to this role, you will have a unique opportunity to explore your area of expertise within the various markets and to play an active part along the entire value chain.

Your key tasks:
