Avalon is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary basis for an organisation based in Worcestershire.

The successful applicant will deliver a supported housing management service, supporting the wellbeing and independence of vulnerable customers through individual plans, group activities and signposting to specialist agencies when required.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage referrals, offers, complete tenancy signups, process terminations, void checks, and undertake new tenancy visits.
  • Undertake tenancy audits according to target and gather customer data.
  • Develop and sustain effective relationships with external partners and stakeholders and represent the organisation in a positive manner.
  • Carry out regular monitoring inspections at schemes, including routine health and safety checks.
  • Deal with a range of housing related queries.
