Avalon School, a specialist school for pupils aged 11 to 19, is recruiting Senior Teaching Assistants as it grows. The post combines supporting class teachers with planning and leading lessons for groups, and teaching whole classes short term.
Holders also mentor new support staff and act as first contact in the teacher's absence. The role runs 32.5 hours a week during term time plus INSET days, and visa sponsorship is not available.
