Employment type: Part-time, and Casual hours available

Pay: From £12.27 per hour (enhanced rates for weekends/nights/bank holidays)

Shifts: A varied rota including days, evenings, weekends & sleepovers

Avalon Group has an exciting new service near Keighley (Adult Social Care) and we’re looking for experienced, compassionate Support Workers to join the team. The person we support enjoys going to the theatre, walking, and going on trips out in the car. They’re looking for support workers who can share their interests, and who can support and encourage their independence in everyday life.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs
  • Supporting people with daily living, independence and wellbeing
  • Working with enhanced health-related support needs
  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion every day

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous care experience required
  • Experience of working with PDA individuals is desirable
  • Applicants must be over the age of 25, hold a full-UK Driving Licence and be comfortable driving the person we support’s Motability vehicle
  • Compassionate, reliable and caring individuals
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Additional Information:

Although you will primarily be based within this package, there will be an expectation to work at services across our Skipton Locality as required.
