Avalon Group is an award-winning social care charity dedicated to enabling people to live fulfilling lives, however they choose. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Quality to lead our quality and compliance agenda and drive exceptional outcomes across our services.
The Role
This is a pivotal leadership position, combining strategic oversight with operational impact. You will design and deliver our Quality and Compliance Strategy, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring our services consistently meet — and exceed — regulatory and internal standards. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee quality assurance frameworks, drive improvement initiatives, and ensure learning from incidents and feedback informs meaningful change. This is an opportunity to shape quality at an organisational level and influence positive change for the people we support.
About You
Most importantly, you will share our values and commitment to person-centred care. You will bring:
- Proven experience in quality within health or social care
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of CQC standards and quality management systems
- A track record of translating strategy into measurable improvement
- The credibility and confidence to influence at senior level
