Full-time, Part-time, and Casual hours available.

Pay From £12.27 per hour (enhanced rates for weekends/nights/bank holidays).

Shifts: A varied rota including mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

Avalon Group has an exciting new service in Heworth, York (Adult Social Care), supporting four ladies to live independent, fulfilling lives — and we’re looking for experienced, compassionate Support Workers to help make this happen. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of the people we support.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
  • Supporting people with daily living, independence and wellbeing.
  • Working with enhanced health-related support needs.
  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion every day.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous care experience required.
  • Experience with epilepsy, diabetes, non-verbal support or enhanced health-related support needs is highly desirable.
  • Compassionate, reliable and caring individuals.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
