Avalon Group has an exciting new service in Heworth, York (Adult Social Care), supporting four ladies to live independent, fulfilling lives — and we’re looking for experienced, compassionate Support Workers to help make this happen. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of the people we support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
- Supporting people with daily living, independence and wellbeing.
- Working with enhanced health-related support needs.
- Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion every day.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous care experience required.
- Experience with epilepsy, diabetes, non-verbal support or enhanced health-related support needs is highly desirable.
- Compassionate, reliable and caring individuals.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
