The luxury swimwear brand Melissa Odabash currently has openings for a 'Design Development Assistant'. Melissa Odabash is a leading luxury resort wear brand, known for its timeless, elegant designs loved by global travellers and fashion icons. We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our design and production team. If you're passionate about fashion and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment, we'd love to hear from you. This role is ideal for someone with 12-18 months of relevant experience who is passionate about luxury fashion design and the development process.
What You'll Gain:
- Assist in organizing and updating collections, including fit notes, range plans, line sheets, and fabric folders.
- Support the design and production team with filing, archiving, and maintaining essential documents.
- Gain exposure to the full collection development process.
- Work closely with a dynamic and collaborative team in a creative studio environment.
Who We're Looking For:
- A fashion student or graduate, ideally with a focus on womenswear.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and basic Microsoft Office is essential.
- Basic sewing skills are a plus.
- A detail-oriented, proactive, and organized individual with a strong interest in the fashion industry.
