About The Role
As an Editorial Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant medical communications projects. You’ll work closely with account teams and senior editors, helping to prepare client deliverables such as congress and journal submissions, references, and permissions.

This is a fantastic entry point if you’re looking to build a career in medical communications. Through hands-on involvement in editorial processes and exposure to a wide variety of projects, you’ll gain valuable skills and experience that will set you up for future progression within our Editorial Services team.

What You\’ll Do

  • Provide editorial support across projects, including proofreading, formatting, and reference management.
  • Assist in preparing submission packages for congress and journal submissions.
  • Coordinate copyright permissions and maintain accurate records.
  • Support with data checking and applying client/journal specifications to documents.
  • Organize project files and contribute to smooth editorial workflows.
  • Collaborate with account and editorial teams, contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

About You

  • Degree in a scientific or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in written work.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear, professional communication skills for working with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within a medical communications environment.
