About The Role
We’re looking for an Associate Director, Growth to help drive new business and revenue across our global healthcare clients and prospects. In this role, you’ll spot, shape, and convert commercial opportunities, partnering closely with marketing, strategy, and client teams to bring our capabilities to market in a compelling way. You’ll play a key role in building and delivering our growth strategy alongside the Leadership Team, bringing energy, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset while navigating a fast‑paced, global environment. This is a brilliant next step for someone ambitious and growth‑focused who wants to make an immediate impact within our Global Marketing capability. You’ll have a clear path to the Leadership Team, along with opportunities to lead, coach, and mentor others as you grow.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Global Marketing leadership to execute and deliver growth strategy.
- Own and drive new business development across priority healthcare markets and therapy areas (pharma, biotech, medtech, health systems, or life sciences as relevant).
- Identify, qualify, and convert new client opportunities, from early engagement through outreach, pitch and close.
- Build and manage a robust global/regional sales pipeline, tracking progress and forecasting revenue, successfully generating creds calls that convert RFI/RFP opportunities.
- Lead RFPs, proposals, and pitch processes, working with internal experts to shape compelling, insight-led solutions.
- Act as a senior commercial point of contact for prospective clients, building trusted relationships with decision-makers.
- Be a trusted commercial advisor, capable of influencing senior marketing, and procurement stakeholder clients across complex healthcare organisations.
- Represent the agency externally at industry events, conferences, and networking forums (international where appropriate).
- Lead brand and reputation initiatives that directly support new business growth, including thought leadership, awards, content, and agency visibility, with a clear focus on lead generation, credibility, and pitch support.
- Partner with the Senior Growth Manager to prioritise growth activity against pipeline needs, providing coaching, direction, and performance feedback to maximise commercial impact.
About You
- Proven experience in business development, growth, or commercial roles within a healthcare marketing, communications, or professional services agency.
- Strong track record of lead generation, attracting RFP opportunities, winning new business and contributing to revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of healthcare marketing, including regulatory considerations outside the US.
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to pitches and proposals.
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable operating with autonomy.
- Experience working across multiple regions (e.g., Europe, APAC, Domestic US).
- Exposure to strategic planning or consultancy‑style engagements.
- Experience mentoring or managing junior team members.
