The opportunity We’re exploring and validating generative AI use cases across our products to reduce friction in end-to-end workflows and improve how work gets done. This means designing experiences that move beyond standalone tools and towards human‑led, AI‑assisted workflows, where AI supports users through repetitive or complex steps while keeping people accountable, informed, and in control. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll help shape practical, usable AI‑enabled experiences that improve speed, quality, and consistency across enterprise workflows. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and subject‑matter experts to understand user needs, test ideas, design robust interactions, and deliver experiences that are trusted, transparent, and measurable. This role suits someone who is comfortable working through ambiguity, can turn complex workflow problems into clear product experiences, and brings strong product design craft from discovery through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design GenAI‑enabled experiences across one or more enterprise web‑app products or workstreams, contributing to principles and reusable patterns for human‑led, AI‑assisted collaboration.
- Translate complex workflows into clear user journeys, prototypes, experiments, and shipped product improvements, working closely with Product and Engineering.
- Plan and conduct discovery and evaluative research for AI‑enabled experiences, including concept testing, usability testing, preference testing, and workflows‑in‑context.
- Use qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform design decisions, iterate on solutions, and contribute to success metrics with Product.
- Design for trust, transparency, and user control, ensuring AI‑assisted experiences help users understand what is happening, what has been generated, and where human review is required.
- Collaborate with Legal/Compliance, InfoSec, and domain experts to incorporate appropriate UX guardrails into the experience.
- Contribute AI‑ready components, interaction patterns, and documentation to the global design system, maintaining a high‑quality bar through design critique and review.
- Support and collaborate with other designers by sharing product thinking, interaction design approaches, AI UX considerations, and workflow optimisation practices.
- Be an active contributor to an experimental, evidence‑driven design culture.
