Versori is Manchester's first Y Combinator-backed company, founded to solve one of enterprise technology's most persistent problems: fast, flexible integration between complex business systems. In March 2026, Versori was acquired by Avalara, a global leader in tax compliance automation, bringing our integration platform to a significantly larger enterprise customer base.
We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager with a strong background in project and programme management, combined with solid technical understanding of system integrations. You will own delivery for a portfolio of key client integration projects, acting as the primary point of technical and delivery accountability from kick-off through go-live and into ongoing support.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Technical Project Delivery: Own end-to-end delivery of client integration projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope and to a high technical standard.
- Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate software development and solutions engineering resource to deliver against agreed project plans.
- Requirements Gathering: Lead requirements-gathering sessions with clients, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical delivery plans.
- Client Demonstrations: Conduct client-facing demonstrations of Versori's integration platform, clearly articulating its capabilities and business value.
- Issue Triage & Resolution: Act as first point of escalation for delivery blockers, resolving issues directly with Solutions Engineers and escalating complex cases to a Solution Architect where required.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Track delivery progress against plan, reporting regularly to the COO and providing clear updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage clients as key stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
- Team Management: Line-manage a team of in house Solutions Engineers, including workload planning and day-to-day support.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful:
- Essential: Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical delivery, project management, or a related role.
- Good understanding of how software systems and integrations work.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- A technical background, or demonstrable strong technical knowledge, is required.
- Desirable: Experience managing distributed or offshore teams.
- Prior experience in an iPaaS, integration platform, or B2B SaaS environment.
