PDI Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Level 2/3 Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team as a PDI Technician. You will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills to help you succeed in the ever-changing automotive industry, including hybrid and EV training.

Duties:

• Carry out comprehensive vehicle health checks using company established procedures

• Document any faults/issues accurately and thoroughly using tablet based VHC

• Competent in using diagnostic equipment to identify any issues during the VHC

• Working on an array of makes and models including Hybrid and EV

• Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair in a safe and efficient manner

• Ensure top quality by having a ‘right first time’ mentality. We trust you to inspect & repair our vehicles diligently before customer handover

• Contribute to efficiency – You are empowered to suggest and implement changes to help improve our processes, and to truly make a difference

• Full UK driving licence is essential to the role as you will be driving manual and automatic vehicles

• Ensure all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner

NVQ Level 2/3 with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role

• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair vehicle issues

• MOT advantageous but not essential, * vehicle technician: 2 years (required)
