Power Systems Electricity Network Consultant

AVA Energy is supporting a market-leading energy consultancy that has experienced rapid growth in the energy transition space.

We\’re seeking a Power Systems Consultant with strong experience in transmission and distribution networks, ideally with a background at energy network providers or grid-focused consultancies. This is the ideal role for someone with a technical background who\’s looking to influence the broader energy transition.

In this role, you will:

• Lead strategic and technical projects for electricity network operators.
• Work on integrating renewables, network flexibility, and DSO transition initiatives.
• Engage with industry stakeholders, contribute to regulatory strategy, and deliver cutting-edge analysis.

We’re looking for:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering and Power Systems experience.
• Experience in Transmission & Distribution operations, planning, or analysis.
• Consulting, regulatory, or utility-side experience.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
