We are seeking an experienced Civil / FRC Engineer to support the construction of a major power infrastructure project. This role will focus on the supervision, inspection and quality management of (FRC) works, ensuring all civil activities are completed safely, to programme and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Working closely with the Contractor, client representatives, designers and subcontractors, you will play a key role in delivering complex reinforced concrete structures that form part of the converter station infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all civil and (FRC) construction activities on site.
- Monitor concrete placement, finishing and curing works to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Review reinforcement details, concrete mix designs and FRC requirements.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and method statements.
- Coordinate subcontractors undertaking earthworks, foundations, concrete structures and associated civil works.
- Carry out inspections and quality checks before, during and after concrete pours.
- Review and witness slump tests, cube testing and other quality assurance processes.
- Raise and manage technical queries, NCRs and site quality documentation.
- Liaise with design engineers regarding technical issues and construction interfaces.
