AVA are looking for a Land Manager for our client in London to support their growing BESS portfolio in the UK. You will lead site identification and selection for BESS projects, negotiating land agreements (HoTs, options, easements, licences) and managing due diligence through to secured sites.

Own planning and grid interfaces, working closely with internal teams, landowners, agents, legal advisors, DNOs and National Grid to progress projects on time, on budget and through consent. Maintain contracts, records, timelines, budgets and risk registers, represent the business at consultations and meetings, and contribute to wider development, investment and board-level materials.

You Need:

  • Accredited by RICS
  • Proven experience in the renewable energy sector with strong capability across land agreements, including leases and Heads of Terms, and confidence negotiating with landowners and agents.
  • Experience supporting due diligence, transactions and project or corporate-level development, with strong organisation, multitasking ability and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, aligned with values of ethical stewardship, collaboration and leadership.
