Our client a national carrier requires a Environmental Clerk of works / Project manager to manage the complete environmental inspections of the works, checking and maintaining environmental compliance along all aspects of the work s, implementing corrective actions and reporting any finding and trends to the Construction Environmental Advisor CEMP and ES Compliance : Ensure implementation of the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and adherence to Environmental Statement (ES) mitigation measures. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with all licenses, permits, and project-specific conditions. Onsite Guidance : Provide specialist advice on environmental controls, laws, and constraints, with a focus on water management. Review and Oversight : Evaluate risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), oversee works, recommend actions, and halt non-compliant activities if necessary. Inspections and Audits : Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify adherence to regulations, planning conditions, and relevant documents. Incident Investigation : Investigate environmental non-conformances, document findings, communicate outcomes, and monitor corrective actions.
