My client is looking for a HV post sales and warranty engineer for distribution & power transformers across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed investigation and diagnosis of transformer faults and operational issues.
- Perform rectification works and complete all paperwork and documentation and communicate findings and updates.
- Travel will be frequently required across the UK and Europe and you will be expected to work independently on site when required in accordance with lone-working procedures.
- You will be required to support testing, maintenance and refurbishment activities and maintaining and adhering to HSE standards.
Essential Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- High Level of Competence of working on site fitting distribution and power transformers and associated packages.
- Hands on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment.
- Understand mechanical and schematic drawings.
- Mechanical/Electrical qualifications.
- Experience of Health & Safety and conducting risk assessments.
- ECS accreditation.
- Full UK driving licence.
Ideal Experience
- Transformer full testing experience is desirable.
- Ideally experience of working within a continuous improvement environment.
- Ideally have up to date training on Overhead Crane/Slinging Lifting certification.
- Ideally have a FLT licence.
- Ideally IPAF certification.
