AVA Energy have partnered with a leading IPP specialising in renewable energy infrastructure. They are hiring for an Electrical Engineer to be responsible for electrical engineering and design on BESS, PV and grid connection processes. Permanent Hybrid - London / Edinburgh
Key Responsibilities
- Project Development and Design - provide electrical engineering input, substation design, approve electrical designs and SLDs
- Grid Connection - Lead and manage the technical aspects of grid connection applications, including preparation of supporting documents and network studies.
- Construction and Commissioning - Lead ICP tender processes including establishing scope of work, reviewing responses and selecting contractors
Key Requirements
- Electrical Engineering background or Engineering Degree Qualifications
- Experience in design, construction or grid connection of renewable energy projects
- Understanding of UK Grid Connection Standards, HV/LV systems and modelling tools
