Our client, who are becoming one of the fastest growing Integrators in the UK, are seeking an experienced AV Installation Engineer to join their team. With an amazing staff and business culture, as well as a fantastic reputation, this is a great opportunity for someone to join a brilliant team.
As the Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and support of the AV systems on site with the support of a Senior Engineer. To be considered for this role, you MUST live in the Berkshire area as you will leave every day from the client's office travelling in a team of 2.
Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment, including projectors, interactive displays, video conferencing systems, and sound systems.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing on-site and remote support as needed.
- Work closely with clients to ensure systems are installed and operating correctly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and support, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations during installations and service work.
Desirable qualifications:
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent certification.
- Electrical or networking qualifications would be an advantage.
- Experience in programming control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX).
