AV Security Ltd is a fast-growing specialist in high-end residential smart home and security solutions. We design, install, and maintain bespoke systems including lighting control, home cinema, whole-home automation, and integrated AV for prestigious private clients across Surrey and surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Audio Visual Engineer with strong Lutron and Control4 experience to join our engineering team.
As an Audio Visual Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering and supporting high-spec residential AV and smart home systems. You will work on both new installations and existing client systems, ensuring a professional, reliable, and high-quality service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation, commissioning, and servicing of residential AV and smart home systems
- Working with lighting control, automation, and AV platforms (Lutron essential; Control4 required; Crestron desirable)
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and system troubleshooting
- Providing client support on live projects and legacy installations
- Daily job write ups
- Participating in an on-call rota (paid)
- Proven hands-on experience installing residential AV or smart home systems
- Strong working knowledge of Lutron and Control4 (Crestron experience is an advantage)
- Ability to commission systems or confidently troubleshoot programmed systems
- Comfortable using mobile apps and digital job-tracking platforms
- Full UK driving licence
