This is a great opportunity to work for a leading AV & Digital Signage company based in West Yorkshire. As an Audio Visual Engineer, you will help lead preparation, installations and commissioning of their projects across the UK ensuring the smooth running and quality of the installations. They also provide a maintenance service with several SLAs in place.
You will be working closely within a team and be able to help colleagues by passing on your experience and knowledge, problem solve under pressure and be able to communicate effectively with customers on site.
The main areas of experience required are:
- Projection
- Video walls
- Internal and external LED displays, including using and programming Novastar
- Digital signage solutions
- Audio CMS software
You will be responsible for evaluating faults, removal, repair, test and implementation of all the above systems. Based in West Yorkshire, salary will be £32k-£36k DOE plus van, fuel card, expenses, tools, pension etc.
Your skills and experience should include:
- A flexible work attitude and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standard expected from your customers
- Keeping correct records
- Proactively suggesting new products, techniques and working methods
- Communicating courteously but knowledgeably with customers
- Reporting directly to the Operation Manager, though communicating directly with Project Managers
You will have:
- IT and network skills
- Technical knowledge, with ability to problem solve
- Strong customer focus and an understanding of customer requirements and sensitivities
- A high level of attention to detail and quality control
- As the Senior Engineer, the ability to supervise and lead colleagues
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the AV industry, preferably within the areas mentioned
- Willingness to travel and spend time away is essential
- A full clean driving licence
