The Opportunity

As Senior Account Manager you will own a portfolio of the my client's most important accounts: leading the relationship, account growth (upsell, cross-sell, and referrals for expansion and new business), and product knowledge.

You will operate independently, taking full ownership of day-to-day communication, service quality, and commercial decisions for your accounts, exercising the judgement to identify opportunities, handle challenges, and lead client relationships at the most senior level.

This is a senior commercial role: the priority is turning disciplined account management into measurable portfolio growth, and passing that judgement on to the Junior Account Managers (JAMs) you mentor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of allocated key accounts, including the group's most strategic and highest-value relationships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with mid-to-senior and executive-level client stakeholders.
  • Proactively check in with clients, building trust and a reliable experience.
  • Lead quarterly service reviews and executive touchpoints on key accounts.
  • Identify and lead cross-sell, upsell, and referral opportunities across the Group's full offering.
  • Create and own accurate, commercially sound quotes within agreed margin.
  • Manage pricing in line with margin targets, collaborating with Product/Tech teams for input.
  • Deliver well-written proposals and lead them through to conversion.
  • Record all opportunity and account activity in the CRM.
  • Maintain a forward-looking sales plan for each account.
  • Support the CEO with forecast updates and reporting.
  • Own the accuracy of pipeline updates across weekly and monthly cycles.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure installs and services meet expectations.
  • Track project timelines, flag delivery risks, and resolve client issues.
  • Follow up after delivery to close the loop and maintain the relationship.
  • Log all account communications and escalations.
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver a valuable customer experience.
  • Share account updates, feedback, and insights internally.
  • Mentor Junior Account Managers, including shadowing and quote sign-off.

Based in the City and covering London and the South East salary is extremely competitive doe/neg plus commission and benefits.
