We are seeking an experienced Sales Director / Sales Partner to join our growing production company.
This is a senior, revenue-focused role for someone with strong existing client relationships, deep production industry experience, and the technical knowledge to confidently sell, quote, and support professional event production solutions.
The ideal candidate will understand both the commercial and technical sides of live production, with particular strength in professional audio systems.
They will be responsible for generating new business, developing long‑term client relationships, leading sales activity, and supporting projects from initial enquiry through successful delivery.
This role is suited to someone who wants to become a key part of an established UK company (and fast‑growing US operation), with the ability to grow client relationships across the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business, develop active client relationships, and consistently bring revenue into the company.
- Use an established network of clients and industry contacts to create immediate and long‑term opportunities.
- Build and retain client relationships across the UK and Europe, supporting touring, corporate, and large‑scale event productions across multiple markets.
- Confidently sell, quote, design, and specify technical production solutions based on each client's needs.
- Manage assigned projects from initial enquiry through final delivery, taking full ownership of communication, preparation, execution, and profitability.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, production planning meetings, and events as required.
- Work closely with operations, warehouse, production, and crew teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring KPIs, revenue targets, reporting, CRM records, and client information are consistently maintained.
- Monitor project profitability and ensure jobs are quoted and managed effectively.
- Support the continued growth, structure, and professionalism of the sales department.
- Represent the company professionally and lead by example at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven senior‑level sales experience within production, touring, concerts, festivals, corporate events, or related sectors.
- Existing client base with the ability to generate immediate business opportunities.
- Strong technical understanding of professional audio and live production systems.
- Working knowledge of lighting, video, staging, rigging, and how production departments integrate during live event delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of d&b audiotechnik, Di Gi Co, and Shure is essential; deep understanding of d&b systems is particularly important.
- Ability to confidently discuss system design, deployment, workflows, and real‑world application of professional production equipment.
- Experience managing full‑service production projects is a major advantage.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, organization, project management, and leadership skills.
- Proven sales management experience preferred.
- Comfortable taking full accountability from sale through delivery.
- Willingness to maintain full transparency with client information and company systems.
- Experience using Flex Rental Solutions, Google Workspace, and 8x8 preferred.
- Must be willing to travel internationally and attend events as required.
- Long‑term mindset with genuine interest in helping grow the company.
