Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Leicester
Annual Earnings: 45,000 - 48,000 p/a

Responsibilities
- Carry out electro-mechanical maintenance across converting and packaging machinery.
- Respond to breakdowns, fault-finding and repairing equipment to minimise downtime and restore production.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and complete weekly checks on machinery and associated equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to engineering projects that improve line performance.
- Install new equipment on an ad-hoc basis as the business continues to develop its manufacturing capability.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activity, PPM schedules, and equipment inspections.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship.
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Electrically biased with a strong working knowledge of mechanical maintenance as well as fault diagnosis.
- Proven experience carrying out PPM and breakdown repair across converting, packaging, or similar production machinery ideally.
- Comfortable working on installation and project-based activity in addition to day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance.
