East Midlands Industrial Installations: Food & Beverage manufacturers, Distribution Centres and Warehouses.

Annual Earnings: £48,600-£64,000+ P/A

The Business: Our client is a leading systems integrator within the Electro-Mechanical Automation Field, specialising in Electrical Installations within the Food & Beverages, Distribution and Automotive sectors. Established for over 25 years and now an investment backed business with a welcoming team atmosphere, the company prides themselves on their ability to deliver high quality electrical products to their customers including key industry players. Their services include Control Panel Design & Manufacturer, Switchgear, Electro-Mechanical Automation (Production line machinery), Installations & Commissioning, PLC wiring and maintenance contracts as well as Testing & Inspection services. The majority of their customers have been with them for over 20 years which says a lot about the quality of their work and professional service. The Role:

  • Electrical Supervisor running and co-ordinating electrical installation jobs within industrial environments, allocating work loads, supervising and ensuring projects are completed to standard.
  • Completing electrical projects up to the value of £500k, ensuring the job is reflecting the electrical schematics/drawings and successfully commissioned.
  • Projects can include: Automation & Control, Control Panel installations, Conveyor and machinery installations and LV equipment going in.
  • Role involves customer management, taking briefs and providing quotations for projects and then overseeing the installation and any maintenance.
  • Hands on work occasionally, helping with wiring during key project times or during absences to ensure the job is completed.
  • Management work including toolbox talks, work allocation, 121's, training and providing feedback to the on site Project Managers and the customer.

Entry Requirements:

  • 5-10 Years minimum experience as an Industrial Electrician.
  • Approved Electrician with a recognised apprenticeship, C&G 2391/2395 Test & Inspection, Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation, JIB/ECS Gold Card, AM2 and 18th Edition.
