Machinery list: Robotics, advanced sortation systems, miniloads, shuttles, monorails, conveyor systems, PLC-Controlled automation, barcode scanners, elevators, pallet wrappers and much more.
The Role:
- Maintenance within a high speed, fully automated distribution centre.
- Breakdown rectification including fault finding and repair.
- Fault finding utilising PLC’s, Multi-Meters, Schematics.
- Replacing mechanical and electrical components.
- PPM Maintenance and routine servicing of machinery.
- Ad-hoc projects and installation of machinery.
Progression: Clear path towards Maintenance Team Leader or PLC Programmer.
Development: Initial training and induction, Regular 121’s, personal development plans, training from Lead Engineers as well as paid courses.
Entry Requirements:
- City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Maintenance or Installation ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship.
- 5 Years minimum experience in automated/high speed environments (Food & Beverage, FMCG, Packaging or bespoke manufacturing).
- Ambitious and development focused.
