Are you a CNC Laser Operator, looking to join a growing manufacturing business in Cheshire? Starting on days and moving to and/or Mornings and Afternoons working Monday to Friday (early finish Friday).
Hourly Rate Range: £15-18 per hour depending on shift / experience. Permanent role. Plenty of overtime.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Set up and operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting machines.
- Work from engineering drawings, CAD files, and job sheets to produce accurate parts.
- Select the right materials and cutting parameters for each job.
- Carry out routine maintenance and help troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work closely with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Take part in continuous improvement and help maintain a clean, organised workspace.
Suitable Candidate:
- Proven experience operating Trumpf CNC laser machines.
- Good understanding of laser cutting processes and steel materials.
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD layouts.
- Experience with Trumpf software is a big plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Basic mechanical skills for day-to-day maintenance.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
