We're supporting a leading cybersecurity organisation undergoing a major security transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a fast-paced engineering team. This role will focus on automating certificate lifecycle management across cloud and application environments, helping to improve security, scalability and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement certificate lifecycle automation
- Automate certificate issuance, renewal, rotation and revocation processes
- Integrate certificate management into cloud-native platforms and applications
- Build Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible
- Support certificate management across AWS and GCP environments
- Create reusable automation, tooling and operational runbooks
- Work closely with engineering teams to embed security automation at scale
Required Experience
- 5+ years' experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong understanding of PKI and Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM)
- AWS and/or GCP experience
- Kubernetes and Linux administration
- Terraform and Ansible
- Python scripting and automation
- Experience delivering infrastructure security automation
Desirable Experience
- AppViewX
- Venafi
- Keyfactor
- Financial Services or other highly regulated environments
- Experience working in fast-moving engineering organisations
