An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast growing engineering manufacturing company as a Welder. This role is based in Sandbach, Cheshire. The company is looking to grow their current team due to a full order book, with more orders coming in weekly.
Various shifts are available with different rates of pay, ranging from £15 - £23 per hour.
The Role:
- MIG welding on Steel to a high standard
- Ensure work is carried out to exact tolerances
- Evaluate and interpret drawings, sketches and other data for product preparation, carrying out dimensional inspection prior to welding
- Highlight and communicate any minor faults which may arise that could cause delays to production
- Ensure all operating conditions are correct before commencing manufacture
- Assist colleagues with problems that arise, offering practical and appropriate solutions
Suitable Candidate:
- Time Served Welder - MIG
- Experience of working with Steel and Sheet Metal Fabrication
- The ability to read engineering drawings and use dimensional measuring equipment to measure fabricated parts
