Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a heavy manufacturing company based in Newbury? You will be responsible for handling Mechanical Maintenance repairs, PPM's and replacement of plant equipment. Engineers will have come from a Mechanical background, be qualified to NVQ Level 3 (apprentice trained or equivalent) and will have experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring machines are kept running smoothly and on track with the planned maintenance schedule
- Repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems
- Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep production running efficiently
- Assist with installations, overhauls, adjustments, and replacements of mechanical systems
Experience Required:
- Welding - stick and MIG
- Working in confined spaces
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - ideally apprentice trained
- Experience in a heavy industry or manufacturing environment
