Are you an experienced Engineering Planner looking to join a manufacturing company (within the FMCG sector) based in Clitheroe? Ideally, Engineering Planners will have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as food or FMCG (not essential) and will play a key part within the Engineering team.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and prioritise work requests in accordance with site priorities.
- Identify resources required to safely and effectively complete planned maintenance activities.
- Identify materials and parts required for planned maintenance activities, liaising with engineering stores to ensure that it is available.
- Identify opportunities and skill gaps within your own and colleagues' knowledge and skills and identify training requirements to increase skill sets.
- Audit and ensure maintenance manuals, communication tools, diagnostic instructions, and special tools are readily available to all engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, technical, and legislative standards within engineering.
