Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical)
Salary: £44,000
Holidays: 33 days a year
Shifts: Monday - Friday Double Days (6-2 / 2-10). You will be required to work 1 in every 6 weekends with the following Monday and Tuesday off as rest days - Saturday 6:00am - 2:00pm and Sunday 7:00am - 3:00pm.
Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a food manufacturing company based in Accrington? Ideally, Engineers will have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as food or FMCG and will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to drive improvements that enhance machine performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards at all times.
- Accurately document all maintenance work and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Provide support for capital projects, new installations, and equipment upgrades as required.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - Ideally apprentice trained.
- Experience with electrical & mechanical maintenance - FMCG/food manufacturing.
- Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
