A leading UK digital infrastructure provider, trusted by mobile operators, government bodies, and major real estate players, is looking for an experienced Operations Support Engineer to join their Network Support Team.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role keeping some of the UK's most demanding wireless environments online, including major railway stations, landmark city districts, large-scale stadia, and national critical infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning L2/L3 incident management end-to-end via BMC Helix, driving fault resolution across private 4G/5G, DAS, and enterprise Wi-Fi networks.
  • Handling remote diagnostics and planned on-site work, managing problem root cause analysis, and supporting offshore NOC and field engineering teams.
  • Working across monitoring platforms, CMDB maintenance, and vendor/MNO escalation management — all with a sharp eye on SLA performance and network availability.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong network troubleshooting across telco, ISP, or MSP environments.
  • Solid grounding in routing/switching, VLANs, VPNs, WLAN.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, Juniper or Ubiquiti.
  • CCNA (or equivalent) + ITIL Foundation.
  • Comfortable with ITSM tooling — ServiceNow, Remedy Helix, CMDB.
  • Clear, confident communicator under pressure.
  • Desirable experience with Private LTE/5G, DAS systems, or UK security clearance eligibility.
