Plater / FabricatorOldham£20 per hourMonday to Friday (37.5 hour week)Are you a Fabricator with experience of manufacturing components with steel? A busy manufacturing business in Oldham is currently recruiting for experienced Fabricators to join their team.
The Role:
Mark out, cut, shape, form and assemble plate, section and fabricated componentsUse appropriate fabrication tools, machinery and equipment safely and correctlyPrepare, align and tack components ready for welding, ensuring they meet required standardsCheck work for accuracy, quality and compliance with drawings and specificationsWork safely with overhead cranes, lifting equipment and mechanical handling equipment where trained and authorisedReport defects, drawing issues, material concerns or production problems to the line managerSuitable Candidate: Experience of working as a Plater / Fabricator within a fabrication or heavy manufacturing backgroundAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsStrong fabrication, measuring, marking out and assembly skillsHealth and Safety awareness around lifting material and handling the fabrication equipmentReliable and proactive person able to work as part of a teamIf you are interested in this role, please send you CVTPBN1_UKTJ
