An established residential developer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of new build housing and apartment schemes. This role will take full responsibility for managing projects through to completion, ensuring developments are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

The business focuses on delivering thoughtfully designed, high-quality homes with strong attention to detail, sustainability, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of residential developments, including houses and multi-unit apartment schemes
  • Manage programme, cost, quality, and risk across all phases of construction
  • Coordinate internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution
  • Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety standards and industry regulations
  • Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions where required
  • Ensure high standards of build quality, finish, and compliance with specifications
  • Manage stakeholder relationships including investors, consultants, and local authorities
  • Provide regular reporting on project performance, milestones, and financials
  • Drive value engineering and continuous improvement across projects
  • Support pre-construction activities including feasibility, planning, and procurement

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within residential construction
  • Strong track record delivering new build housing and/or apartment developments
  • Background working for a developer or main contractor on residential schemes
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, programme management, and cost control
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Sound understanding of UK building regulations and health & safety requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or phases concurrently
