Auxo Talent is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Nottingham for two experienced CNC Turners. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturer renowned for producing high-quality precision components across a range of industries.

As a CNC Turner, you'll be responsible for:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
- Manufacturing precision components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Selecting appropriate tooling, machine settings, and cutting parameters for each job.
- Carrying out first-off, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Maintaining exceptional quality standards and working to tight tolerances.
- Meeting production schedules while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Carrying out routine machine maintenance and maintaining a clean, organised work area.
- Identifying opportunities to improve machining processes and productivity.
- Complying with all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support production objectives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering environment.
- Experience programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines.
- A strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a skilled manufacturing team.
- A positive attitude and commitment to producing high-quality components.
- Experience machining a variety of materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement techniques.
- Experience working within an ISO-accredited manufacturing environment.
