Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a heavy manufacturing company based in Kirton? You will be part of a small team, assisting with all activities that help the site run as efficiently as possible. Engineers will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 (apprentice trained or equivalent) and will have experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Role:

  • Ensuring machines are kept running smoothly and on track with the planned maintenance schedule
  • Carry out repairs to production breakdowns in an efficient and safe manner
  • Compliance with all health & safety regulations
  • Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep production running efficiently
  • Ensure all risk assessment / safe system of work / permit to work are adhered to

The candidate:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - ideally apprentice trained
  • Experienced working within a manufacturing environment
  • Able to work independently and take initiative when needed
  • Strong focus on Health & Safety
  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
