We are now looking for an experienced Principal Recruitment Consultant to join our growing US team, specialising in the CNC and Advanced Engineering market.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven recruiter to take ownership of a growing US market, combining the support, infrastructure and global reach of an established STEMX consultancy with the autonomy to build your own desk.
We already have established clients, live jobs and existing candidate networks, giving you a strong platform from day one rather than starting from scratch. With experienced market leadership and technical knowledge already in place, you'll have the support and credibility to develop your desk, grow your billing and build long-term client relationships.
There is significant potential to develop both permanent and contract recruitment, alongside cross-selling opportunities with our UK, European and APAC teams.

The Role
As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you will:
- Build and grow a portfolio of US CNC and Advanced Engineering clients
- Develop new business and expand existing relationships
- Deliver recruitment solutions across permanent and contract markets
- Build a strong candidate network across the US
- Develop a sustainable contract book alongside permanent recruitment
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across our global business
- Leverage Auxo's international client and candidate network to uncover new opportunities
- Build senior-level relationships within the engineering and manufacturing sector
- Take ownership of your market and contribute to the continued growth of our US operation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Auxo Group
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior or Principal Recruitment Consultant with experience in the US market.
- Experience within CNC, Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation or Advanced Engineering recruitment
- Strong billing and business development track record
- Commercially driven with a consultative approach
- Confident building senior client and candidate relationships
- Experience or a strong interest in the US recruitment market
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of a market
- Ambitious, tenacious and motivated to build something significant
