Machine Operative About the Role Hours - 3 shift rotation Monday to Friday - 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am rotating weekly Salary - Starting from Β£29,000 P/A We are looking for a motivated and reliable Machine Operative to join our clients production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating slitting, punch, and micro-perforation machinery to produce high-quality finished products to precise customer specifications. Working as part of our manufacturing team, you will play a key role in helping the business achieve its production, quality, and customer service objectives while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and housekeeping. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate slitting, punch, and micro-perforation machines to customer specifications. Maintain high housekeeping standards, ensuring equipment and work areas remain clean, organised, and safe. Carry out pre-operational inspections and promptly report any equipment faults or production issues. Follow all quality procedures and customer requirements, ensuring products meet specification at every stage. Monitor print position, repeat lengths, and material quality, reporting any defects immediately. Cut cores accurately while minimising waste through efficient material usage. Record production data accurately and ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved. Weigh, label, load, and unload finished products using safe manual handling techniques and lifting equipment where required.
