Auxo Talent is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for two experienced Laser Cutting Operators to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected employer that values quality, continuous improvement, and employee development.
As a Laser Cutting Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring components are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machinery to manufacture components in line with production schedules and engineering drawings.
- Safely load and unload raw materials and finished products.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Carry out machine set-ups, tooling changes, and adjustments where required.
- Perform in-process quality inspections using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance, identify faults, and report production issues promptly.
- Complete production documentation and records accurately.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all Health and Safety regulations.
