Are you an experienced Stores Operator looking for a new role? Working for a global manufacturing business based in Heanor, Derbyshire. As a Stores Operator, you will have experience of working within an engineering/manufacturing stores, you will have your Counterbalance and Reach FLT Licences as well as a Driving Licence. Working Monday to Friday - rotating mornings and afternoons. Offering a salary of £31.5K + extensive benefits.

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Goods in - raw material
  • Goods out - finished product
  • Loading and unloading vehicles with a FLT
  • Locating and retrieving stock for both customers and the shop floor
  • Delivering raw materials to the shop floor and retrieving finished goods from the shop floor and storing them into the warehouse correctly via a FLT
  • Allocation of stock for customer orders supporting the 3PL function
  • Daily inventory checks
  • 5S and continuous improvement activities

Hours of work: Monday to Friday
Week 1 - 5.50am to 2.15pm
Week 2 - 1.30pm to 10pm

Suitable Candidate:

  • Experienced Stores Operative from a manufacturing background
  • FLT licences - Counterbalance + Reach - will accept people with internal licences
  • Experience of inventory processes, cycle counts, scrap and waste management
  • Experience of dealing with shipping hazardous goods and preparing regulated documentation
  • Strong computer skills - SAP is advantageous
  • Full driving licence and willingness to drive a company vehicle to transport stock to a warehouse around the corner.
