This market leading health and wellness brand is looking to hire a commercially-minded Customer Service & Sales Executive to join a small team and help drive revenue growth through excellent customer care, proactive cross-selling and upselling, and building long-term customer value.
You’ll be part of a team that will be the first point of contact for customers across phone, email, live chat and review platforms, handling orders and enquiries while actively identifying opportunities to increase order value and lifetime customer revenue. This role blends outstanding customer service with a clear sales focus — turning helpful conversations into commercial outcomes without compromising the customer experience.
Key responsibilities- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Proactively identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities during customer interactions to increase Average Order Value (AOV) and Items Per Order (IPO).
- Convert enquiries into sales by recommending complementary products, bundles, subscriptions and promotions where appropriate.
- Set up and manage customer accounts.
- Build rapport and long-term relationships to drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Manage returns and credits promptly while seeking opportunities to retain the customer (e.g., exchanges or alternative products).
- Refer complex or clinical queries to our internal Nutritional Therapist and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and, where appropriate, sales conversion.
- Support commercial activity around product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Provide light systems admin and occasional testing support for new sales features (secondary to the sales/customer focus).
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role with a strong track record of cross-selling or upselling (tele-sales, retail, e-commerce or subscription services preferred).
- Confident, persuasive communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Comfortable working to commercial KPIs (conversion, AOV, retention) and keen to contribute to team sales targets.
- Customer-first mindset — you exceed expectations while identifying commercial opportunities in every interaction.
- Highly organised, numerate and detail-oriented.
- Competent with order/CRM systems (experience with SAP Business One and Magento desirable) and happy to learn new tools.
- Team player who supports colleagues and collaborates with marketing, product and clinical teams.
£25-27K per annum depending on experience, company bonus, option to buy and sell holiday, gym membership, flexi time, cycle to work scheme, lots more!
