Job Description Maintenance Engineer \n Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, Daventry, Peterborough etc \n 4 on 4 off, 3 blocks of days followed by 1 block of nights \n Are you a 'hands-on Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault finding, fixing problems and keeping production moving? \n I am working with a successful manufacturing business looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team and play a key role in maintaining and improving their production equipment. \n What you'll be doing: \n * Carry out PPM and routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and maximise equipment reliability. \n * Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults and get machinery back up and running. \n * Complete machine adjustments, set-ups and changeovers to support production. \n * Fault-find across mechanical and electrical equipment. \n * Monitor and calibrate machinery to maintain quality, accuracy and safety. \n * Work closely with Production to identify **improvements and reduce downtime**. \n * Maintain accurate maintenance records, PPM schedules and spare parts information. \n * Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company standards. \n * Support the introduction of new technology and engineering improvements. \n What we're looking for: \n * Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical engineering, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering) \n * Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems \n * Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and packaging equipment \n * Proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of equipment reliability \n * A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally IEE qualification up to 17th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous \n Why apply? \n This is a great opportunity to join an established manufacturing business where engineering is critical to the success of the operation. \n You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to equipment reliability, production efficiency and continuous improvement. \n Interested? \n Apply now or contact Karen at Auxo Advanced Engineering for a confidential conversation about the role. \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
