Are you an experienced Maintenance Team Leader looking to join a food manufacturing company based in Northwich? You will have a Multi-Skilled background and have experience of working within a FMCG environment as a Maintenance Team Leader. You will play a key part in supporting the Maintenance Team, minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Offering a salary of £58,000 to work a 4on 4off days and nights shift pattern (2 days 2 nights).

As a Maintenance Team Leader your role will involve:

  • Co-ordinate and prioritise the activities of a shift engineering team in providing support to the operations team.
  • Monitor the completion of PMs and other equipment inspections.
  • Operate as senior engineering point of contact for assigned shift.
  • Support Short Interval Control, and daily end of shift review meetings with team.
  • Participate in Improvement Groups e.g. wastage reduction.
  • RCA, CI initiatives & efficiency improvement.
  • Complete a clear and comprehensive handover to incoming shift engineering team.

Hours of work: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off with shifts working from 7-7.

Suitable Candidates:

  • A fully qualified and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer recognised Engineering Apprenticeship and BTEC ONC/ Level 3 (minimum).
  • Trained to 18th Edition Electrical Regulations (desirable).
  • Familiar with FMCG environment (Bakery / Food Manufacturing desirable).
  • Experienced in leading a team.
  • Strong Fault diagnosis skills.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to coach and support others.
  • Ability to prioritise.
  • Computer literate.
  • RCA / CI Improvements (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical / Pneumatic / PLC controlled systems.
