We’re supporting a PE-backed connectivity and digital infrastructure provider as they grow their UK Public Sector sales team.
This role is new business–led, focused on winning new public sector customers and shaping opportunities early, with responsibility for developing those accounts over time.
You’ll be trusted to operate autonomously in a complex, regulated environment, building pipeline, navigating frameworks and procurement, and working closely with technical and delivery teams to land and grow long-term partnerships.
Key focus
- Winning new public sector customers across NHS, central government, local authorities, transport and related bodies
- Opening doors and shaping opportunities ahead of formal procurement
- Building and converting pipeline through frameworks, tenders and direct engagement
- Owning relationships post-sale to drive long-term growth
We’re keen to speak with people who:
- Have hands-on experience winning new business in the UK public sector
- Are comfortable operating without a “warm” account base
- Understand public sector procurement, frameworks and buying cycles
- Enjoy building something rather than inheriting it
This is not a pure account management role. It will suit someone who enjoys autonomy, ambiguity and growth, and wants to play a meaningful role in expanding a public sector portfolio.
